well-established ethanol industry -- including both local and
multinational companies -- seems positioned for profitable growth.

United Nations Data Access System (UN-data) - UNDESA's
Statistics Division has just launched a new internet based data
service (UN-data) that will provide an integrated information
resource with current, relevant and reliable statistics free
of charge to the global community. Subsequent stages of the development
of the UN data access system will extend to UN system data as
well as to data of national statistical offices - providing the
user with a simple single-entry point to global statistics.

Crescent have launched an Iraqi Refugee Solidarity Initiative.

will bring together 30 youth (ages 18-30) from Iraq, Jordan and
the U.S. with the goal of better understanding the root causes
of the Iraqi refugee crisis in Jordan, placing it within a larger
regional and global context, and identifying concrete ways in
which they can take steps towards addressing the
